Bellino, McCanney, Rauchenecker & Garcia looking to impress at final round
Entering the final round of the 2016 Enduro World Championship this weekend in France, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Mathias Bellino, Danny McCanney, Pascal Rauchenecker and Josep Garcia are set to conclude what’s been another strong season for Husqvarna Motorcycles in enduro racing.

With three Enduro 2 class victories so far this season, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Mathias Bellino is poised to end the season on a high note in front of his home French crowd. Enjoying a solid 2016 Enduro World Championship campaign, the TE 450 mounted rider hit the ground running with a win and a runner-up result during the season opening GP of Morocco. Since then, the 2015 Enduro 3 World Champion has collected no fewer than nine podium results in Enduro 2, along with three wins and five top three results in the overall EnduroGP class. Currently second in Enduro 2 and fourth in EnduroGP, Mathias is hopeful of closing his 2016 season in winning form.

Improving throughout the 2016 Enduro World Championship, Danny McCanney arrives in Cahors aiming to retain his third place in the Enduro 1 championship hunt. Leaving behind an injury-filled 2015 season the Manxman has gelled with his FE 250 machine, managing to collect five top three results so far this season. Always among the frontrunners in the class, Danny’s highlight has so far been the GP of Spain where he secured two runner-up results. Along with holding down the third place spot in the Enduro 1 championship battle, Danny is also set to fight for an elusive first E1 class victory during the series final in France.

Enjoying a strong debut season of enduro racing, Danny’s Enduro 1 teammate Pascal Rauchenecker has impressed with his results this year. Taking the bold decision to switch from national and international motocross racing to the Enduro World Championship, the 22-year-old has so far collected three podium results in Enduro 1 and currently holds fifth in the series’ standings. Aiming to end 2016 on a high in France, Pascal has already started building a solid base for a bright future in enduro racing.

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Josep Garcia will be battling for the top step of the Enduro Junior class podium on both days in France. In impressive form since the start of the season, the young Spaniard kicked off his 2016 campaign with two runner-up class results in Agadir. Since then, the FE 250 mounted rider has collected nine class podium results. Despite missing three race days due to injury, Josep is currently third in the Enduro Junior championship standings behind second-placed Husqvarna supported rider Albin Elowson. (source: husqvarna)
